    Hi Ashal,

I asked them for amortisation schedule and they have just given me my EMI schedule calculated from a normal EMI calculator software. So now pls suggest what i need to do and what is the consequences of deducting interest from the excess deposit amount ?

    Thanks
    Sumit

    Hi Ashal
I am unable to find the example that you are refering for
below is an example that I have created as per account statment

    25-05-13 Loan Amount (1,150,000)
    31-05-13 Debit Interest (2,194)
    07-06-13 EMI June 12,323
    15-Jun-13 Fund Transfer 40,000
    30-Jun-13 Debit Interest (9,179)

Book Balance (1,109,050) (Account closing balance)
Available Balance 30,821 (Extra fund transfer less debit interest on 30 June)
Drawing power (1,139,871) (Loan amount plus debit int on 31-5 less June EMI)

    My questions is.
    1. Why available balance is 30821/- instead of 40000/-
    2. Why drawing power is 1139871/- instead of 1149050/- (1150000+2194-12323+9179)

    Thanks
    Sumit

  7. Dear Sumit, Drawing Power is the as on date actual loan balance. Other 2 are clearly understood by you. To understand it more better with an example, please visit the Max Gain article in the main Jago site published in June-2013.

    Thanks

    Ashal

  8. Sumit says:

Can you clear the same by given an example ?

    Thanks
    Sumit

  9. Sumit says:

    Hi Ashal,

Just want to know what is the meaning of

    Book balance
    Available Balance
    Drawing Power

As per my understanding books balance is the balancing amount of account on which bank charges interest.

Available balance is the amount that you have deposited in OD over and above the EMI

and I don’t know the drawing power means.

    Please reply

  10. Dear Sumit, please send me your account statement from day one of your loan.

Only after getting through it, I can comment anything.

    Thanks

    Ashal

    Hi Ashal,
I just want to know about available balance.
As per my understanding Whatever I have deposit to my OD account over and above the EMI amount the same I can withdraw any time.
But as per my Max gain account my available has been reduced by the interest amount which has been debited to my OD account on 30th of the month. please clarify on the same

    Thanks

  12. Dear Amit, what’s the query?

    thanks

    Ashal
