  1. Dear Pradeep, taking clue from your own reply, why are you not checking the IRDA data itself? Also from your own definition, what ‘ll be the convincing reply to you?

By the way, I’m not defending Max Bupa. All I want to say is, you have to understand the whole working of rating methodology.

In the end if you are not getting any satisfactory answer, you have the option to not purchase the policy offered by Max Bupa.

    Thanks

    Ashal

  2. Dear Pradeep, each rating site has it’s own methodology for the rating of products be it for MFs, Life Ins. or other products.

Please check in the methodology adopted by the co. (I-save). Then only you ‘ll come to know why the rating was assigned as 1 star for the co. in question.

    Thanks

    Ashal

      Hi Ashal,

Agreed, The ratings are published by The Economic Time ET Wealth Newspaper every week.

Being a layman I have to believe something and probe.

And the whatever the criteria i-save is following is common to all the insurance agency ( I guess they don’t have any personal issues with Max Bupa). And as per that criteria(as per the IRDA data as claimed by the i-save.com) they have rated MAX Bupa service as low. Now if Max Bupa has any problem with those rating which is being published in the National Leading newspaper, they have to defend themselves.

When I asked the same query to Max Bupa, they were not able to give me any convincing reply. Neither they replied to my mail and abruptly close the issue. I just got a message that my query has been resolved. But the resolution is still unknown to me. Over the phone they said I am free to believe any ratings.
