Hi All,
I have a LIC policy named New Bima Gold for 16 years and I am paying the premium for 6 years. I was curious about the maturity benefit. What information I managed to get from LIC website is that at the maturity of the Policy Term, the insured will get:
Total of all Basic Premiums paid till date + Loyalty Additions – Survival Benefits already paid
I know the amount for 1st and 3rd component, but nowhere had I got any clue regarding Loyalty Additions for the policy. Can you please guide me where I’ll get the information about how much Loyalty Additions I am getting every year?

I have a question regarding LIC plan no. 179 i took plan with term 16 years as representative said after 4 years you will get payback but i dont know about representative where he is how can i get my payback if anyone can tell me
You should check this with LIC office only, there you will get correct information

Even I also own the same policy and been looking for this from a long time, I did not see bonus in the historical PDFs downloaded on the LIC website for this policy which is new bima gold (179) and only reason I can think on positive side is since the policy was launched in 2006 and minimum term was 12 years, no policyholder is eligible for bonus yet and that is why the bonus details are not available for this plan in those PDFs.

I have bima gold policy taken in 2005 (plan 174) for 500000/= maturing in Sept 2017. I would like know the Loyality additions I get on this policy.I am not finding the dotails anywhere.Even the lic is also not furnishing the details.

I suggest that you now take the RTI route. You can file the RTI and ask your queries to them. THey are bound to reply you on your queries.

Were you able to find the required info.
Wait for the maturity, you will come to know. First you have taken an insurance plan and secondly you are concern what your insurance plan will return after 10 years down the line… it is contradicting boss.
The only insurance one should opt for is pure term insurance. Investment should be always linked to market (read mutual funds) with a mixture of debt and equity as per your risk appetite.
Dear MS, I do have only one Idea. LIC policies for investment purpose is injurious to my financial health. Should I say more? If you can not collect the info from the link provided, use the SMS way. Still if you are unable to do it, contact your agent or LIC branch for details on your policy’s bonus accumulation.

I checked the URL. But could not find any bonus information specific to my policy New Bims Gold(Table 179). Not sure if the policy falls under “Money Back & Anticipated”. Do you have any idea?

it worked for me 3 months before. It seems LIC did not renew that useful service. poor guys. They will spend all the looted money only to buy governement’s OFS.

The author, Basavaraj Tonagatti, told me that all bonus info can be accessed from LIC website.
the general bonus information can be accessed from lic website, but the bonus amount specific to a policy number is not provided by lic’s online portal.
