Loyalty Addition Rate Declared by LIC

Hi All,

I have 16 years LIC Bima Gold and New Bima Gold policy. I am continuing the policies for 6 years. But till now I didn’t receive any information regarding Loyalty Addition. I heard that Loyalty Addition is different from Bonus and is declared only at the time of maturity and it may be not be declared every year for a particular policy. Is it true?

Is there any way to know, what is the Loyalty Addition rate, declared by LIC for my policies for last 5 years? I checked the LIC website. But I couldn’t find any information for my policies? Can you give any pointer?

Thanks,

Maitrayee

I have Jeeven shree policy of LICI done on 28.03.2001 for Rs. 5 lakhs and the total amount of guaranteed bonus is 75 guaranteed bonus x 20 years x 5,00,000 = Rs.12,50,000/- + loyalty addition. I just want to know the tentative amount of loyalty addition in this case.

The best answer you can get only from the agent you invested through or just contact the company. The thing is your case is a bit personalised and other than company, no one can give accurate information

  2. The 2012 circular (copy not yet available in LIC page. I can send you a copy by email) clearly states that no LA has been declared for polices not listed explicitly. this includes policy no. 179.

The circulars for other years dont make this explicit. however since no info is found in 179 think you will have to assume it is not declared.

This is true and certainly seems to the case for your policy.
