Liquid MF in Demat – How liquid are they?

For the first time I bought some HDFC Liquid fund from my ICICI demat account. They took almost one week to process my “buy” request. Now on the thrid business day I am waiting for my redemption request to get processed. Is it usaual?

Hope this will not be the case if I had done this directly from HDFC web site. I have done few processing on my regular funds and they are very fast.

    Dominic,

    Yes you are right, ICICI seem to be taking more time than usual to process your liquid funds.
    I have a demat account with HDFC and i have bought many funds including liquid funds and they get processed in 2 working days.
