Dear Sir / Madam,

You are requested to please arrange to provide answer to following questions:-

1. If LTA claimed every year and employee submit the bills, whether it is taxable or exempted.

2. IF LTA claimed as per block period and employee has not submitted the bills, whether it is taxable or exempted.

If in both cases it is taxable, then what is the benefit to the employee who claims LTA as per block period.

Please confirm each question separtely.

Regards,

Bharat Malik

Dear Bharat, in a block of 4Y, only 2 LTAs ‘ll be tax free. The other 2 ‘ll be taxable in any case.

Without bills, all LTAs are taxable.

    Thanks

    Ashal
