Land registry between me and my friend – Is it suggested ?

Hi all,

Me and my friend purchased a land jointly and registry is done in joint names,is there any problem i mean what will happen if there is any dispute between us?

    Better to consult lawyer and as Ashal pointed out let him check out the wordings of the agreement. Even if you are allowed to sell your land individually , there can be hurdles.
    If your piece of land doesn’t have access to main road or the only way to reach your land is through your friends land , then you won’t get much buyers.

    Dear Atul, being co-owner, you people can not sell the whole land individually. Yes one can sell his individual part to a 3rd party if defined and marked clearly.
