Hello I’m investing Rs.2947/month from Jan 2011, tenure is 30 yrs,

Both me and my wife are self employed. Can you suggest whether this can be a good enough instrument for retirement?  Will we be able to generate enough corpus for survival considering our current age 40 and the prevalent inflation at the time of maturity?
