Is LIC Jeevan Anand maturity amount taxable?

I am holding a JEEVAN ANAND policy right now.I just want to know if the amount I get at the end i.e., matured amount is taxable?

    Dear Sashank, as per current tax laws it’s tax free. Can not comment for future. 🙂
