Is it possible to claim with both (CI policy & mediclaim) for same illness

Hello,

Consider a case of a person who has taken critical illness policy & mediclaim policy. Couple of years after the policies were taken, some critical illness was detected and after some treatment at home the person was hospitalised.
It is possible for that person to claim with both the policies – with CI policy for illness detected and with mediclaim policy for hospitalization charges

    Dear Yogesh, Yes is the answer. CI policy ‘ll provide the lump sum sum assured amount irrespective of treatment is started or not. The mediclaim policy ‘ll provide the reimbursement for the hospitalization expenses.
