Is it good to invest in Commodities ?

I am new to commodities .Is it wise to invest in Commodities ?And how does it work ?Same as stock markets ?Is there anything similar to Mutual Fund in buying Commodities as well ?

    Commodity trading is very leveraged & very complex trading.

    If you think there are specific commodities that you like – you should buy related stocks or mutual funds. For gold you can buy gold ETF.
