Is Indexed Pension same as Inflation Adjusted ?

I had a doubt what does Indexed pension means does it mean Inflation adjusted returns.

    Dear Radhey, I some how got the feeling of your qurey. Indexed Annuity or pension means there should be increase in pension as to beat inflation over the years. For example if today you are receiving 10K mly annuity, next year, it should be 10800 if inflation is 8% or 11000 if inflation is 10%.

    That’s what dear Subra meant. Unfortunately, no Indian insurer provides indexed pension/Annuity as on date. 🙁

      Dear Ashal ,
      First of all Thank You very much for showing Interest in my Question although you were out for Vacation from last One Month Inspite of that you have managed to take out time for solving each and everyones Query either here or from Asan Ideas for Wealth. Really I must say going through each and every post is not that easy it .

      Coming back to my Query Indexed pension I got this doubt from Subramoney’s recent Articles . But Now I am not able to trace that particular Article .
