ONHi there,
Iam looking for personal portfolio tracker in excel sheet. I tried to design one, but so far not suceeded. Excel sheet tracker to take into account Shares, MF, Insurance, PPF, FD, RD, Real estate, Cash at Bank etc.. More over it shall be for monthly investment and one sheet should consolidate and show summary and may be graphs….
Is there anybody who is having this?? If yes, please share with me or give tips to prepare the same..

I saw one such sheet for mutual funds only – http://goo.gl/4vst1
It requires a small change and you can go though the comments section of the same blog for the chnages
@pramodhkashyap@gmail.com,
Are you looking for an excel-based portfolio tracker only? Or are you open to other ways of tracking it – maybe through a web-based interface or a desktop version?
In case you are open to web-based interface, moneysights.com is launching one soon. To begin with we are going to support Stocks & Mutual Funds before expanding to other asset classes. Currently under invite-only, you may want to submit your email id on http://www.moneysights.com.

Hi Gaurang,
Unfortunately, the email you sent went to SPAM folder. Our bad. Expect the response in a few minutes. In future, if this kind of stuff happens, mark a direct mail to santosh DOT navlani AT moneysights.com.

Thank you for your prompt response. Thanks to this forum too 🙂
for only mutual funds and equity shares , morningstar.co. has also good tracker like valueresearchonline.com , and giving different perspectives than the latter.
Bharat,
I don’t think that portfolio tracker in morningstar can be transferred to excel sheet or can be printed in excel format
Hi Pramod,
Try “https://www.perfios.com”. Basic version is free.

Mprofit is good but its not free so unless if u have to track your portfolio frequently, it is viable.
I use valueresearchonline.com and pretty happy with it.
Dear Pramod, You may give a try to online portfolio manager of http://www.moneycontrol.com
Apart from this, you may also try http://www.valueresearchonline.com
Thanks
Ashal
Dear Promod,
Many financial web-sites are offering this service as free/paid service like Moneycontrol.com, personalfn.com, rediff.com, equitymaster.com etc. This has an added advantage that your MF units and share prices get reflected in real time during market hours. You can google ‘ portfolio tracker’ . Some allow export to excel sheets also.
