More over it shall be for monthly investment and one sheet should consolidate and show summary and may be graphs….

I saw one such sheet for mutual funds only –

It requires a small change and you can go though the comments section of the same blog for the chnages

Are you looking for an excel-based portfolio tracker only? Or are you open to other ways of tracking it – maybe through a web-based interface or a desktop version?

In case you are open to web-based interface, is launching one soon. To begin with we are going to support Stocks & Mutual Funds before expanding to other asset classes. Currently under invite-only, you may want to submit your email id on

    Dear Promod,

Many financial web-sites are offering this service as free/paid service like,,, etc. This has an added advantage that your MF units and share prices get reflected in real time during market hours. You can google ‘ portfolio tracker’ . Some allow export to excel sheets also.
