Friends

I have a sum of Nearly 50000 that i can spare for 7-8 months. So i want to invest this money. Pls guide where should i invest this amount for getting best possible return?

Should i invest in mutual fund or FD or anywhere else. I can take medium risk but can not take heavy risk. So advise accordingly

After 7-8 months, i dont need full amount withdrawal…i may need 15-20 thousand and remaining amount can stay invested

I second Karthi. Go with HDFC ST Opp

You can also go for Fidelity Cash Fund (liquid fund, full capital protection with good returns)

Go for HDFC Short term opportunities fund

I mean MF in equity gives better return in long term.

With 50,000 i dont see any great oppertunity of investiment. You can either do FD for 6 months or buy a short term debt mutual fund. Mutual Fund is better if you invest for long term.
