Insurance for protecting newly purchased Home from natural calamities !

I have recently purchased a new flat. I wanted to take the Insurance cover for flat against any mishappenings or damages in future from fire, theft or any natural calamities etc. Please guide me if there is any Insurance of such kind and companies providing this.

    Dear Somnath, you are asking for householder’s policy. It’s a common policy available with all general insurers.

    May be you should check with Future Generali or Chola General Insurance. They have very good deals for home insurance.
