Insurance company not issuing policy on the basis of current financial status

Dear Manish,

pls guide, I had applied for a online term plan of 75 lakhs premium amount already paid Rs. 4604/-  from Aviva for my wife on dt. 02. 06.14. Where we were informed that there will be a medical test in next week at our residence for free of cost and was duly conducted. After waiting for next 15 days approx we been told that there will be a hike of premium as my wife birthday fall between the applied date and the date of allotment of the policy. Later on we were given a option to continue with the same age and premium but with the term policy of Rs. 40 lakhs instead of 75 lakhs.
When we asked for refund, they are telling us that they will deduct the  medical expenses from the refund amount Rs. 2700/- approx. Which was previously confirmed as free.  While filling up the online plan sheet the executive had already informed me that I might get email on hike of premium and he will help me in replying to that email, but from that date he is not reachable on any of the customer care nos. Request you to guide us in this case. We had still not opted for refund amount.
Thanks,
KUNAL

    Hi,
As they are considering annual income of the insurer as it is below 2 lakhs for issuing the term plan.

Why they are not ready to give for 75L… any reason they said ?
