If I discontinue an SIP after investing for a year what will happen to my invested amount?

Hello Friends,

I have a query on SIP, If I discontinue an SIP after investing for a year what will happen to my invested amount? will there be any charges levied if I have to continue it after few months?

    No charges, u can continue, discontinue an SIP any time

    If you wish to start after few months or after few years, you will have to register for new SIP.

    No penalty or charges for discontinue in SIP from AMC.
    However, bank may charge for the failed SIP mandate i.e. not maintaining enough balance for SIP when the SIP date comes. So preferably, inform AMC and discontinue the SIP requests coming in to bank from AMC.
