I am doing some contract work right now and would like to know if I can write off any business related expenses even though I do not have a business name yet?

    Dear Etaxmentor, as you are doing your contract work right now under your own name, you can adjust all the expenses which are coming from your own pocket to do the business. So YES is a direct reply to you.
