How to verify authenticity of online jobs?

POSTED BY Rohit Maskara ON November 1, 2012 12:16 pm COMMENTS (5)

HI

I recieved an offer for an online data entry job. They have promised 15k per job. But the registration fees is Rs. 2750. Out of this, Rs. 2500 will be refunded with the first paycheck. There are testimonials from other users on their website, which can easily be fake. How can I verify the authenticity of this and similar offers? Do they need to be registered with some government database? are there any laws which govern this industry? Appreciate your help.

    Hi Manish

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely try your recommendation. One more thing i am interested in finding out is that are there any authentic online jobs with which i can earn some extra side money? I would like to use this extra money to indulge myself while my salary goes to savings & Investments.

    1. I seriously dont think anything like that exists . Making money is never so easy . The best thing I can suggest right now is https://www.elance.com/ , where you can work on something as freelancer . Thats most authentic thing I know .

  4. I just dont think this one is authentic . What is the guarantee that you will get the job through this , It might be just a pay X to register for a 10X salary kind of Scam ..

Those comments , why are you even looking at them , I can create 100 profiles and create comments . The thing is even if 1000 people fall for it overall india, its cool 25 lacs ! and then they can just vanish .

Check with them if they accept Post dated cheques . If you get a job , then let it run . else cancel the cheque !

    Manish
