How to stop ECS fr LIC

Dear forum members,

I need to stop ECS mandate for LIC. What is the procedure?

I have decided to pay online for the policy.

    I would say go to LIC and give a request for ECS stop.

    When I had to do same for my airtel landline, bank did not entertain my request and ultimately I went to airtel office for ECS cancellation.

    Dear Priyanka, Just go to your bank prior to 15 days of ECS date and submit the ECS cancellation form.

    Hi Priyanka, I guess you just have to contact your bank and ask them to stop the ECS payments to LIC. They will cancel the standing instruction they have put for auto-debit on your account.
