I would like to know is there a way for me to skip the SIP with some mutual Funds for 2-3 months and then continue on after that.

One option is to make no balance available in account on SIP Date.will this cost me anything for ECS Bounce from bank?

or is there any other way?

If reason of skipping the SIP is markets are volatile or close to new high it will be a big mistake.

These is no clean way , you will have to stop it by not leaving money in your account , but that would mean penalty charges from bank , It would depend on bank how much they charge , I remember I heard it was Rs 200 . But that might be ok , considering skipping the SIP is important .
