ONDear Sir,
My age is 37 yrs, as of now I have not planned for my retirement pension, can you suggest me some options pls. My monthly take home is approx 45000. My family includes wife, daughter 8 yrs and son 3 yrs.

Hi Sachin,
You have about 23 working years (to reach retirement age of 60 yrs). In between you may have other goals such as children’s education, marriage etc. Hope that you must have allocated some portion to these goals as well.
You need to look at how much amount would you require on a monthly basis at the age of 60 yrs, to live a good life and accordingly start investing for next 23 yrs. Options could be RD / FD / PPF / Bonds/ Debt funds for safety part and MFs / Direct Equities for riskier portion. You should investing depending on your goal value and risk appetite
