How to invest Lumpsum amount investment for short term ?

Hi Manish,

how do we properly invest lumpsum amount. For example, if I get 5L suddenly from other source, how do I properly invest on short term funds.

My friend suggested me liquid fund? Or is it better to pre-pay the loans ( home) ?

    Ashal, am looking for some financial expert advice on how to invest his lumpsum cash. Either he can invest on some fund for a year or more to earn some benefit OR he can do the par payment to the home loan to reduce the tenure. What is the best advice based in market condition,

    Dear Sarav, how can the loan prepayment be called as short term investment? What do you want to do with the money in the end?
