Nobody should leave their PAN card details on website in open forums as people can use them for unauthorized purpose like buying gold for more than a specified limit and/or use them, to claim their HRA from their company. their might also be other misuses of anyone’s PAN CARD number which other members can mention ove my email.
Guys, just refer to the intimation received from CPC for the concerned AY. The refund sequence number will be mentioned there.

Its confusing while we read instructions given on the intimation received from CPC. the cpc reference number and refund sequence number is found on the refund intimation form. what we do is try and find the refund sequence number on the refund failure intimation. So thats what i found, whre i was going wrong.
if you filed your return online, go to your inbox and search for ‘intimation u/s 143(1)’ (if you are not regular in reading your e-mail). you’ll find the exact mail you were looking for.
the pictorial representation refers to this particular ‘intimation’ and not the ‘intimation on your refund status’.

dear sir i have not filed my it return for ay 2012-13, and 2013-14, but i have filed return for ay 2013-14 ,but in this tds deducted year was specified as 2012 instead of 2013 ,but i want to rectify the return u/s 154 ,but i didnt received cpc reference number plese tell me a solution for this,for ay 2014-15 there is a refund of 8400

Could you please tell me when you got the intimation from CPC & when you got the email from SBI? The reason I am asking is because I got an intimation from CPC on refund around 2 days back, the letter id dated around 26/27th Oct. But I did not get any notification from my bank a/c neithet the amount is credited. Even going to tin.tin.nsdl.com/oltas/refundstatuslogin.html is sating the assessing officer has not yet sent the refund intimation to the refund banker. So, I wanted to know how long normally does it take?
I have the same issue. I just got an email from SBI (Income Tax Refund Payment Advice – Failed Transaction) saying that the account number is incorrect, so the ECS transaction failed (but the account number is correct).
I think we just need to wait for another email from CPC intimation that the refund transaction failed. and I hope that email should have the CPC reference number.

Just an advice – don’t publish your personal details like PAN number in public forums.

for obtaining Refund Sequence Number kindly submit request for Intimation on Income tax efilling portal with your login details, after submission of request you will get intimation u/s. 143(1) on your mail id, then you may easily find your refud sequence number
