   A POA was given by my wife to the the wife of my friend in 1995, was never used for the purpose of using HDFC schemes to purchase a residence, as was its intention. And it was never revoked. Our relationship with our friend has gone bad and suddenly we recalled that we had given a POA to them. So the process of revoking was stalled by them on some legality that it was not worded properly by our lawyer. Now we are suspicious that it is possible that they may have used the POA without our knowledge. My question is how do we find out if the POA has been used for the purpose it was made?

   Registry deed should have mention of POA. Person selling the property on someone else name clearly indicaes that.
