How to design my portfolio if I can take high risk ?

How can I design my portfolio, I want to invest a min sum of 1000-3000 per month and can take high risk as well (not too much) for higher returns.

    1 small-mid cap fund would be enough for Rs 1000-3000. The following could be your options:

    IDFC premier Equity fund
    HDFC MIdcap
    Axis Midcap.

    If you want to invest more add 1 large/large-mod cap fund with it:-
    Axis Equity
    ICICI TOP 100
    Quantum Long term equity fund etc.
