How much time does IT refund takes to come ?

I got an intimation mail on refund confirmation. It has refund sequence number as well. order is dated 19-Dec-13 while I received the mail today on 16-Jan-14. How much time does it take to receive the payment in the account as I had opted for online transfer.

    Hi,

    My IT refund for AY 12-13 was Rs.37000+ and it came through online transfer. It took about 4-5 days from the day I received their e-mail.

    Since you have got the intimation, it may take a few days no worries.

    Dear Sudhesh, as the amount is in excess of 25000 Rs. you ‘ll get the cheque on the address mentioned in the ITR. it may take at least 15-20 days more from here onwards.

    Dear Sudhesh, what is the refund amount. Normally refunds in excess of 25000 Rs. are sent through cheques and this may create a delay.

      This is 55000/- I opted for online transfer even though it will be thru cheque?
      Will this be sent at address given in return? And how long does it take to receive the cheque?
