Dear Brundaban, age is 35, family size ‘ll increase in near future, parents are dependent, a younger brother to support & in all probability due to birth of your child, your wife may not be in position to work. Still you are with out any term cover. Please think over it before thinking for Gold investing.
I hope now you can notice, why I asked so many questions to you – To know your other details.
As of now my portfolio is like this which is a mix of Equity and debt as well but it doesn’t include Gold part,as i hav seen 10% of anybody’s portfolio should contain Gold.
And as the Value of gold is increasing so may be this could be a good bet to invest on gold.
Pls give ur comment/feedback with my current portfolio for 10 yrs term.
1.HDFC TOP 200(G)- 2.5K/month
2.HDFC Eq(G):- 2.5K/month
3.ICICI Foc Bluechip Retail (G): 2.5K/month
4.IDFC Pre Equity Plan A(G): 2K/month
Apart from above SIP i do 70K per annum in PPF.
But gold portion is not yet fulfilled, Pls suggest if investing in Gold is a good option for long term basis.
Dear Brundaban, May I know your family size, income level, living expenses, current assets & investments, loan liabilities, insurance details, emergency funds & many more things………..
