How can I extend a demand draft validity?

Hi,

I purchased a demand draft from SBI which had a validity of 3 months. The overseas institution did not en-cash the DD within this time-frame and now I want to extend the validity. How can I go about it?

    As per my knowledge, I think that DD has to be cancelled and take a new DD. I may be wrong. So, go to the branch where you have taken DD and ask them whether they can extend.
