Home Loan fraud detected after looking at my CIBIL report

During my CIBIL verification by ICICI Bank for home loan , they found  a loan application for 20 lakhs on 8th of march 2014 in my civil history , Interestingly I didn’t apply for that loan ,I asked ICICI to tell me the name of bank for whom I applied , he say in CIBIL history he can’t check name of bank .

yes In parallel with ICICI I did contact with LIC and HDFC for loans and gave my documents , but I was looking for  32 lakhs loan not 20 lakhs . both agents denied filing of any such application , I am worried about the fraud , Is there any way I can get name of bank from my CIIBIL history or can I  verify from bank ?

    Dear vinay, please apply for your CIBIL credit score and detailed credit report. Only after checking your report anything can be said.

    Dear Vinay,

    Kindly obtain your credit report and score from CIBIL. It would list out all the enquiries made by you till date with the details of the bank name, amount, date and purpose.

    Also note that random enquiries could appear on one’s credit report if the bank has obtained your credit report for portfolio management or to offer additional benefits eg: a free credit card etc.

    You should go ahead and dispute such entries with CIBIL if they have not been made by you.
