Health insurance

Hi all,
I have a health insurance from New India Assurance for myself and my mother (joint). The premium is Rs. 13000 per year for a coverage of 2 lacs.
Now I want to increase the coverage from 2 to 5 lacs with an increased premium accordingly. Is it possible to increase it on the same policy? or it is advisable to take a different policy if so which one is good as per your experience.

    Dear Sridhar, you may increase the same with your existing insurer (New India, in this case). Else you may apply for policy portability to any other insurer of your choice.

    My take ‘ll be to continue with the same insurer as you have an existing relationship as well as a past history.
