HDFC Click2protect premium increased after medical test

I have applied for a Term insurance plan of Rs. 1 Crore. I have declared everything true in the application form. I have paid a premium of around Rs. 22,000/- for a term of 15 years.

I appeared for the medical test last week at a nearest Apollo clinic. Yesterday I came to know from the helpline that HDFC has increased my premium to Rs. 32,000/- as they have found my fasting sugar out of limit. I had never blood sugar which I test regularly at an interval of 3-4 months. Last one I did in Jan 2014. Can I contest with the company ? Can I ask them to redo the test ?

Dear Usctty, please check your sugar this time in the same Apollo clinic and then asked for the report of your medical test from HDFC and on the basis of old report as well as new report at the same centre, lodge your protest. You ‘ll get success.

    Thanks

Can anyone help me with some input so that I can decide ?
I did the fasting sugar test today and found within limit.
Is it a strategy of the insurance companies to increase the premium ?
