Dear all i am a salaried professional and a first time home buyer and planning to take up a loan for the same. I got to know about SBI Maxgain Home loan product.

Have a couple of queries regarding the same:

1. Is it overall beneficial to take up Maxgain or normal home loan

2. Are there any tax benefits in case of Maxgain (for Principal & interest payment)  as in case of normal home loan

3. Is there any catch if the possession is delayed beyond 3 years

4. Is there any tax benefits for first time home buyer (i.e. can i take tax benefits for Interest or principle payment before possession)
