Group Insurance Schemes ( Medical, Accident and Life) for Jagoinvestor.com members

Hi Manish,

Is it a good idea to look out for some group insurance schemes for jagoinvestor.com members ? Of course it will be voluntary and premium paid by individual members. I hope group insurance schmese has advantages of its own.

    I have already answered this to someone earliar . Note that group insurance like this is not possible . The reason being that

    1. Group insurance members needs to have some common things like age-range, income group, location (this one is most important) and they must be mainly employed under someone , because in group insurance , the premium is paid by ONE person or entity which would be mainly the employer ! . So its really not applicable in our community !
