If you want to invest in SBI mutual funds, you can investin SBI MF MSFU Contra Fund. The fund has got good track record of several years. You can diversify your portfolio with other funds also Manish & Rakesh have suggested.

One thing you might be confused is that SBI mutual funds is great because SBI is great ,
thats not the case , SBI mutual funds is different than SBI bank , just like Orkut is not great because its from google . the same way its not neccessary that SBI mutual funds will be best because SBI Bank is great in Banking , both are different

Why do want to invest in SBI MF only. There are much better funds available which have beaten funds from SBI. HDFC Top 200 and DSP Top 100 are consistent performers over the years.
