ONI am planning to add some gold to my portfolio. But before i make a purchase i want to know which is the best way to add gold to portfolio. Please suggest me an investment way which can provide returns as well as liquidity.
I should also be able to convert into physical gold in future.
Thanks,
Rajan

You should definitely try a gold ETF such as GoldBees (Goldman Sachs Gold ETF). ETFs are very efficient compared to physical gold/gold mutual funds.

Hi Rajan,
There are many ways to take exposure of gold. All options currently available in the market are detailed in http://insight.banyanfa.com/?p=540.
It should not matter if you can not convert your gold units into physical gold. You can alway sell your gold units and buy physical gold. This would avoid limiting your options for investing into Gold and make it more tax efficient.
