  1. Ramesh says:

hdfc equity = growth and multicap

hdfc top 200= growth and large cap oriented

templeton india equity income = value and multicap, with international diversification.

templeton india growth = value and large cap oriented

    all are different categories.

during one phase of market, one of the 2 styles work, and at other times, the other.

a good approach is: rebalancing by investing in the lesser performer of the two categories. nearly a perfect way for equity portfolio.

templeton funds are selected because they have value based approach, and hdfc 200 has very high net assets but due to its mandate, i was confused whether i should go for hdfc equity because it has no restrictions as it is a multi-cap fund..

    1. Dear Ajinkya, for the given situation my take ‘ll be HDFC Eq. fund & Franklin India Bluechip fund. Both growth option.

      Thanks

  3. Dear Ajinkya, on what basis did you select these funds?

    Thanks

    Ashal
