Fund rating – Regular vs Direct

Friends,

When a regular fund has a 5 star rating, it’s equivalent direct fund says not rated on valueresearchonline.com. Can you please help me understand if I can simply assume direct fund is of same rating as it’s regular fund?

    Hi,

    The direct scheme might not be rated as it has not been around long enough, or because the AUM is too low. But the rating for the direct scheme will be the same as regular scheme, you assumption is right.
