Where do I check the fund classification (Debt or Liquid) correctly. The value research has their won way of classifying a fund. Do I have to go through the offer document for this info?

Liquid fund also invest money in debt securities. So how do I know a fund will charge DDT 12.X% or 25.X %?

    Hi Dominic,

All the Funds in the Ultra Short Term Category fall in the OTHER DEBT FUNDs Category..

Though in the future, valueresearch can include the LIQUID FUNDs in Ultra Short Term part. The best person to answer is the Fund house itself.
Having Said that, usually all funds which are named CASH FUNDS or CASH PLUS FUNDS or LIQUID FUND are in the Liquid Category.

As of now, you can look at the Ultra short Term Category.

    Regards
    Abhishek
