Dear Jvenkat, ok then. Redeem from MFs but redeem only that much amount as you required. Do not go for overspending.

    Thanks

    Hi Ashal,
As my MF has been Long term there are no Tax implications and my returns are @ 12% and the FD is Flexi and my returns post Tax is 8.66%.

Dear Jvenkat, out of the 2 FDs and MFs, where w’d you have to pay less Tax? Redeem from the one, where tax liability is less.

    Thanks

    Ashal

I have been postponing this for good 8 months and this is a need and not a want, am not sure how postponing further is going to help me either.
Did think about the 50-50 split but not sure about it… need more inputs please..

50- 50 option is also good 🙂 (take 50% from both FD and MF)

Dear Jvenkat, how about postponing your house renovation for few months if not years?

    Thanks

    Ashal
