Fraud on Kotak Credit Card

I just received an sms stating Txn of Rs.14874.8 made on 16-Nov at VZWRLSS*PREPAID PYMNT. But I have not made the txn and hence I have hot listed the card.

I am trying to raise a dispute complaint with the bank and I am calling them repeatedly and I get an automated message “Our customer Service representative will attend to you shortly.”

I have waited for 15min on one occasion and 20 min on another occasion but still i could not reach them.

I feel it is the handiwork of some insiders in KOTAK.

Should I register a police complaint for this?

Please help

    I was able to talk to telephone representatives at Kotak and they said they have received 21 complaints so far. They told me to send them a transaction dispute form. I am worried if a police complaint would be necessary?

    1. Yes, this is something new which is going on .. I am trying to find things on my side. As of now you can just follow up with Kotak Bank !

    No, I just received the sms at 6pm and I have the card with me physically.
    I have not transacted on any non secure websites

    Also , Did you give your credit card to anyone ? Did you use it on some website which was not secure !

    This is an important point, please share with us !
