I,paid my due income tax of Rs 4434 online through challan 280 for FY 2013-14 on 17.07.14. Challan status at TIN-NSDL website is showing status- “received by TIN on 18.07.14”. But my form 26AS is still not showing this tax in part C (i.e.Details of Tax Paid (other than TDS or TCS)) or anywhere else. What should I do? Or will form 26AS take some more time to get updated? Please clarify. Also, shall I file my IT return for FY2013-14 or wait till form 26AS gets updated.
