Forged signature on HDFC Policies document and Fraud – I have recorded Phone Conversation , What can I do next ?

Hi,

HDFC and its agents has done some forgery and fraud with me. I have taken two HDFC policies one in my name and second in my sister-in laws name.  My concerns are as below –

HDFC Agents are selling policies on false promises. They told me after investing 50k for five years I will get 3.70 Lacs. I have recorded phone calls of it. But after getting policy document it was only 1.83 lacs.

They had also said 20% cash back of first year premium, which they later denied. HDFC agents forged my signature on illustration page and I got to know it very lately as it is very small imprints. I never signed on such document while applying.

If any sensible person will see the illustration table, which offers 2.2 L returns after investing 2.5 L (assuming high 6% bonus which of-course is not guaranteed, merely 3% is guaranteed) he wont accept such kind of products.

I already raised these concerns on service@hdfclife.com, but no resolution happened. They insisted me to pay renewal premium, otherwise policy may lapse.

This is a serious case of fraud and forgery being run by HDFC and none is listening to my complains. I am in process of escalating it inside HDFC. But would like to advertise it here to showcase how HDFC is cheating innocent public hard earned money directly or through their agents. Please let me know further actions. I will go to any extent to get justice/my money refunded.

Thanks and Regards,
Shashank

    Dear Shashank,

Please use the Free-look cancellation if 15 days have not lapsed since you have received the policy documents.

    That’s the easiest way out.

Dear Shashank, please file a case of forgery in local police station and let HDFC people including the agents and staff respond to that police complaint.

    Thanks

    Hi Shashank,

Have you informed them that you have proof of recorded phone calls of the misselling.
