Finding difficult to convince clients to take Financial Planning service with fee ?

Dear Sir,

I am a regular follower of your blog, and find it very useful to keep myself updated. I am a CFP certificant, working in a investment consulting firm, handling financial planning department.

I am facing difficulties while I approach any client for FP service. Many of our clients are not aware about this concept, they don’t feel there is a need to do Financial Planning. I don’t know how shall I convince the clients in simple language so that they show interest in it.

    Blame this blog for your misfortune. People consider financial advice (myself included) as freely available. Subramoney.com has few humorous takes (not funny for the financial-planner-though) about non-feasibility of financial-planning-as-career. Nandish/Manish are out to prove him wrong on this aspect. The jury is still out.
