I want to take family health insurance to insure myself and my mom who is heart patient of more than 60 years of age, can you suggest good health insurance.

Try Star health senior Citizen Red Carpet scheme. But be aware that this has 30% co- pay clause and loading as well. But you mother don’t have to go through medical test.

And also try Max Bupa … You should have had taken a health policy long back , but now most of the damage is done , companies will now charge premiums which will make you cry or just not provide the cover at all

I don’t think any insurance company will provide health insurance to your mother now. Generally, companies do no accept pre-existing diseases like heart attack & that too, at this age. Even if somehow, you get mediclaim from some nationalized company, they will not cover heart related diseases in that policy. But that’s difficult.
