ELSS – Lockin Period

POSTED BY Ram ON March 29, 2011 6:45 pm COMMENTS (5)

Suppose a person has invested in an ELSS Tax Saver Fund on 31st March, 2008, when is the very first date on which he/she can redeem the fund?

Basically, on what exact date does the lockin period end to enable redemption?

Thanks,

Ram.

i think , i should clarify that if you have done sip, each installment requires completion of 3 yrs. for maturity under elss, and exit load is not a question.

DOES EXIT LOAD OF 3 YEARS STAND FOR EACH MONTHS ELSS SIP?

      1. Dont worry on ELSS exit load , As its locked in for 3 yrs ,the exit load will not be applicable
