Dynamic Fund Investment for Overseas citizens(OCI card holder)

Sir,

I am trying to invest in Dynamic debt funds. The SBI has two funds giving excellent returns.I am told that as OCI card holder I can’t apply for these funds. Is it correct ? If so why?

    Thanks Ashal for your reply.
    I am surprised that they allow if you are an NRI but don’t allow citizens from USA.
    Sad. I guess they have their reasons.

    Dear Vijay, Govt. of India as well as AMC do have some restrictions on who can invest & in which funds. Please check with other fund houses.
