Does money lost in stock market count as a tax deduction?

Hi All,

I have started doing trading from Jun 2010 with 2.5 lakhs Capital and i realized 1.5 lakhs loss in Trading till now.

recently i heard that Stock Market losses can be tax exempted.

Could any one please help me with how to fill our stock market loss for Tax exemption and what is the procedure.

Your valuable suggestions will help me lot.
