      Hi Ashal, I am discussing about my Salary account in Axis bank. i observed my online statement & understood that interest is credited, hence didn’t enquire with bank. Thanks a lot !

   Dear Nsg, how do you come to know that salary account is not earning any interest? How old is your salary account? Did you ask the same question with your bank?

      Thanks Ashal for the answer, I verified the Axis bank statement from one year, it is earning interest- credited quarterly. I checked with my friend too, his ICICI salary savings bank account is earning interest credited once 6 month.

   salaray account is a savings bank account with extra privileges than a normal savings account. Rate of interest depends on which bank you have the salary account in
