Was involved in an accident two days ago. Anyone has an idea what is the procedure for insurance claim ? Insurer is Bajaj Allianz . I registered a claim online and got the claim number. Post this,the bajaj service center asked me to take the bike to their place and bring DL, C-Book, Insurance papers, along with a written application form explaining the situation.

They said the insurer surveyor will come to their service centre to verify the damages. On the other hand, Local Bajaj Allianz Office wants me to come to their office(28kms from my place) and fill an application form, along with the above mentioned documents. I told them I was involved in an accident and am unable to travel due to injuries. They said it is mandatory for me to go to their office to fill up the form.

Can someone please guide me what to do?
